You will need Quicktime 5.02 or later to watch this video. Download it for free at: http://www.quicktime.com

Bandwidth a concern? We've engineered this video to check your QuickTime Player preferences to determine which version (low or high bandwidth) of each movie to download for you. These preferences are totally independent of the actual type of connection you're using, so it would benefit you, if you don't know what your QuickTime settings are, to go back and double-check. Our "low bandwidth" version goes out to 14.4 modems through to 56K modems and 112K Dual ISDN connections. Our "high bandwidth" version is aimed at Cable connections, T1 connections, and (ooooh, we're jealous) higher connections.

We spent the winter of 1999/2000 in Hawai'i filming for a European extreme sports film festival. This one was called: Nuit De La Glisse. It tours almost one hundred cities across France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

We filmed the surfing and skating sequences of the film by and for Thierry Donard. After filming most of the winter in Hawai'i, we went to Tahiti to film the surf there. From Tahiti, we went to California to film skating. The sequences were directed by .

The film, called Freeman, was projected from 35mm film but it was shot on Super16mm. In Tahiti, Mercer Richards was our main cameraman and Bruno Lemos filmed from the water. In California, Wing Ko was our main cameraman and shot additional footage.

You can watch the Tahiti surf sequence or the California skate sequence by clicking on one of the blue buttons under the picture of the video you want to watch. You will need QuickTime 5 (it's free) to watch these videos.

Freeman also includes bodysurfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, skiing, basejumping, tow-in surfing, kite surfing, motocross freestyle, and the occasional bikini girls.

st:808

Filmed during the entire winter of 1998/1999 in Hawai'i, st:808 was produced by Ad Valorem International Productions for a French surf film festival called: "Nuit Du Surf." Ad Valorem International Productions also co-produced the "Nuit Du Surf" which toured a dozen French cities during the summer of 1999.

st:808 was our first all digital production. It was filmed and edited digitally, then projected from a BetaCam master with Barco projectors.

All the best waves of the winter as well as the opening ceremony of the Quiksilver in memory of Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational are in st:808. Luckily, there was a swell that brought 20+ foot waves into Waimea Bay and "The Eddie" took place, making a great winter on the North Shore of Hawai'i a perfect winter.

st:808 was directed and filmed by Victor Muh. Bruno Lemos filmed the in-water footage and Ryan Bell also filmed for us.

H3O TV

Spurred by the untimely death of Mark Foo, we began to distribute, then produce his surf TV show H3O TV (Hawaiian Heavywater Television) in France via cable and Europe via satellite on MCM, a French music television channel.

Mark always said that he loved surfing so much that he wanted to show as many people as possible what a wonderful thing it was. He felt television was the best way to do this. We wanted to carry on Mark's work and legacy. H3O TV ran from 1994 to 1997. The show also spawned a series of videos.
